WHY HOMEOPATHY
Homeopathy can be a gentle and natural route to supporting the physical and emotional health of your child.
Remedies are made from highly diluted forms of natural substances that are safe, non toxic and have no harmful side effects.
It aims to stimulate the body's natural life force energy and encourage the body to heal itself in the most natural way,
WHAT CAN IT BE USED FOR?
It can be used to address both acute and chronic health conditions, behavioural issues, low immunity, ongoing chronic coughs, post vaccine support, ASD/Neuro diverse children, ADHD, transitional challenges and many more. In essence, homeopathic remedies are selected to match your child's totality of symptoms and unique expression of health; aiming to treat the person, not the label or condition; making it a truly bespoke form of medicine.
THE CONSULTATION
This is carried out either over zoom or in person in Hextable, Kent. If online, it can be helpful (although not essential) for me to see both parent and child to make a little observation. There is no pressure and most of the information will be collected through the parent and a detailed health questionnaire.
THE HOMEOPATHIC PRESCRIPTION
After I have collected all necessary information I will carefully select the most appropriate remedies for your child.
I often will prescribe what is called a constitutional remedy; which means the remedy will be a match to your child's nature, temperament, likes and dislikes, their response to their environment and their unique health picture; with the aim to strengthen their overall energy and stimulate their body to heal and find it's own balance.
Occasionally if there has been a clear decline in your child's health since a particular event or health condition, I will prescribe a detox programme alongside their constitutional remedy to support the body to release toxins.
With some conditions such as eczema, I will prescribe a remedy for the skin and usually a remedy to support the healing of the gut alongside a constitutional remedy.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
If your child is struggling with some big emotions, which is very natural from time to time and they are finding it difficult to cope, I prescribe a range of flower and crystal essnces which can be taken as drops in water. Theses can be a very gentle way to help support and balance their emotional health. I often find these work well for children that are especially sensitive and are easily affected by their environment.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We will discuss at the initial consultation how many sessions that your child may need. Follow up appointments are usually every 6-8 weeks until you feel that your child has made considerable improvement. Some parents like to have regular ongoing homeopathic healthcare for their child and these costs can be disucssed in the consultation.
